EVENT-TECH CONFERENCE:
EventTechCon (Friday, June 25th) is the industry conference for event organizers to learn strategies and ideas from experienced event organizers who have used technology to make wildly successful events
Its hard to run an event without using technology. Whether its an online event registration page or the projector for the speaker presentation, every event organizer uses some kind of tech. And technology can have a dramatic impact on your event. Social media tools can drive registration, live streaming can increase the size of your total audience, and available Wi-Fi can help attendees connect and collaborate with each other online. As technology becomes more of a necessity rather than a curiosity, it is important to understand these technologies and how to use them effective to make our events better ... or just to remain competitive.
BEST OF EVENT TECHNOLOGY CONTEST:
Leading up to EventTechCon we are running a Best of Event Technology (contest where we highlight the technologies that event organizers have had the most success with. We will also be highlighting event organizers who have inspired you to organize your own event. The contest starts today and runs through Sunday. We will be announcing the winners on Monday of next week.
